I am going on holiday in 7 weeks and I am really excited about it. Now, it’s a little different to the holidays I normally take that are abroad and include me laying on a beach drinking my weight in cocktails. This time around I am doing a family holiday and right here in the UK.
I’ve never really holidayed in the UK before as I always seem to find it just or even more expensive than jumping on a plane to a different part of the world. Luckily we have found a beautiful cottage in Devon at a really great price, we are going to have a swimming pool and are also going to be looking after some chickens that come along with it.
Going on holiday means I need some new clothes and I am hoping the British weather doesn’t let me down while we are there.
I have been looking at JD Williams and it seems I can get everything I want there and at great prices too.
I’m a massive lover of Maxi Dresses and I absolutely love this Bright Yellow Bardot Style one, its only £25 and I can see it becoming a staple in my summer wardrobe. My love of bardot style clothing is never ending and this White Neon Stitched Bardot Top will be so versatile to wear with so many outfits, at £24 I think it is a great bargain too.
I love a good maxi skirt and adore the print on the Wrap Tie Waist Skirt, it’s not like anything I own and I can see me dressing this up for evenings out and down for a casual daytime look, it’s priced at £30 which isn’t too bad considering the amount of wear I would get out of it.
Finally, the last two items in my wishlist are basic essentials – A swimming costume and sandals. I’m not one for fancy swimwear and prefer to keep it simple, so this Black Magisculpt Bandeau Swimsuit for £35 is perfect for what I’m looking for. It has support panels to give you a nice shape and hold in the mum-tum while also having a nice cut to it. The Rose Gold Heavenly Soles Sandals are exactly what I am looking for, a nice comfy looking sandal that I can walk in all day, at £25 I think I will get a lot of wear out of them and I really like the style.
Are you off on holiday this year?
