When it comes to alcoholic drinks there are three you will find me sipping on; Vodka, Prosecco or Cider.
Cider hits the spot every time as that refreshing summer drink, when your laughing with friends and just wanting to unwind. It brings me memories of dancing in a field come rain or shine, singing along to my favourite songs at festivals, barbecues on the beach, days in Magaluf and endless nights sat on my balcony taking in the skyline of London.
Waddle Goose Cyder from Aspall is the perfect way to get my cider kicks, they come in a variety of flavours like Apple and Mixed Berries which I was kindly sent to try out.
The Mixed Berries flavour is my favourite out of the two with its sweet but sharp taste where you can really taste the berries, what I love about this over other fruit ciders I have tried is that you can really taste the fruit and it doesn’t taste artificially sweet. It honestly is a beautiful cyder especially if you’re into a more fuller bodied drink.
The Apple flavour wasn’t my go to out of the two but yet again apple flavoured cider isn’t really my cider of choice either, however I really enjoyed the Waddle Goose Apple Cyder due to its refreshing and crisp taste. It was tangy but sweet with the same full-bodied taste of the mixed berry flavour.
Over all both of them were perfect for the warm weather we have been having and I am looking forward to purchasing some more, they are priced from £2.22 to £2.70 for a 500ml bottle and can be purchased from Aspall.
