I’m going a little out of my comfort zone today due to the fact I am posting a photo of my eye, with actual make up on it *Shock horror*… I always get a bit worried about popping them up due to the fact I don’t really feel I’m that great at doing eye make up but all in the name of a review I shall overcome that fear as I have fallen for this little palette.
VIVO Smoky Moods in Midnight Smoke – £4.00*
The Smoky Moods Palette is one of the new offerings from VIVO and they come in two different palettes, Daytime Smoke and Midnight Smoke which is the one I have.
The eyeshadows themselves are highly pigmented and both the silver and purple are very soft, the only problem I have is with the blue one which to me seems a little harder and has quite a lot of chunky glitter which results in a lot of fallout while applying but other than that I find no other faults with the eyeshadows. They last a very long time, I got at least 6 hours out of them with no creasing what so ever so I am really impressed.
The black liquid eyeliner is a wonder product and actually a shocker in this palette, as I mainly wont use any that come within palettes favouring my own over them but I thought I would give this one a try to test the palette as a whole and I am glad I did… It is really black unlike some that can be that sort of grey colour and lasts all day, I have actually been using it instead of my regular eyeliner since I have got it.
Overall I think the Smoky Moods Palette is an absolute bargain and is an impressive little addition to any beauty junkies collection.
You can buy VIVO cosmetics at Tesco and also on their new website
