A couple of weekends ago, my family and I were invited down to a wonderful Family Fun Day hosted by Yellow Zebra Safaris. We were really excited about attending as there was a promise of meeting a few ‘safari’ animals. This really excited us as we are massive animal lovers and love animals that are out of the norm.
When we arrived we met Safari Pete, who was absolutely wonderful. He has a host of knowledge about many animals, in fact he even helped us with a little problem we had been having with our turtle, Terry.
Pete gave a talk and took the children on a little mini safari around the room to see if they could spot a couple of the animals he had brought with him. All the children were excited and there were many hands raised in hope they could ask a question.
Pete soon began to give a talk where he introduced us to a lot of different animals. There was Spiders, Lizards, a Scorpion, Crocodile and Meerkats!
This talk was very interactive and the children were very much involved, a few of them were even allowed to hold a few. A very exciting moment for our youngest was the Meerkats, she completely fell in love with them, she was whipping her jumper off as soon as she heard Pete tell another child that the Meerkats like to get inside hoods. She definitely gave everyone a laugh with her enthusiasm.
Over all we had a wonderful day with Yellow Zebra Safaris, we couldn’t thank them enough for their kindness and generosity towards our family.
When we got in the car to drive home all the kids could talk about was the Meerkats and Crocodile, telling us how they would absolutely love to go on Safari.
I know that if we were to choose to go on Safari we would definitely choose Yellow Zebra. They are an award-winning luxury and adventure safari company specialising in ‘Safari Africa’. All their safari consultants are professional safari guides, camp managers, and/or people who were born and raised in Africa. Plus, considering how friendly and attentive they were on the family fun day I would definitely put my trust in them to give anyone the same welcome while being with them.
If you have young children under the age of 5, Yellow Zebra Safaris recommend that you go to South Africa – A malaria free zone. For families with children between the ages of 5-10 you can broaden your horizons and go to either South Africa or Kenya.
When the children get older it can open up a lot more of Africa, with places like Tanzania, Botswana and Zanzibar being added to the list of places you can Safari.
Yellow Zebra Safaris have a wide range of Family Safari Holidays to choose from, allowing you and your family the opportunity to see a host of animals in their natural habitat.
