Over the last couple of years we have all become a bit of a fan of the beauty blender, the little egg-shaped tool that helps get your make up looking flawless. I will tell you the truth and admit that I only started using a beauty blender about a year ago because I thought that there was no point to them and to be honest they were an unneeded addition to an already lengthy make up routine. I couldn’t think of life without mine now, I adore my beauty blender and that is why when I found these two Make Up Gallery Foundation Sponges I knew I had to give them a try.
Both the sponges are soft to the touch but very sturdy and have a handle unlike your typical beauty blender, they are more like the Maybelline Dream Blender and work well with a variety of liquid and cream products. One of the things I love about both the sponges is that they don’t soak up loads of product and really create a lovely soft focused, air brushed look on the skin which is something that is sometimes hard to achieve when you’re trying to blend liquids and creams with brushes. Both of them wash really well and come up looking like brand new, the only gripe I do have is that they take a little while to dry and when you’re washing them they do feel a little fragile but I assure you they aren’t.
The best thing about both of the sponges is that they are only £1 each and come from Poundland, so if you are passing by pop in there and definitely take a look at their Make Up Gallery line.
