Getting Hair Free With Veet & A Veet Giveaway

Veet Hair Removal

Veet Hair Removal

Hair removal, its something we all hate doing because of the time and effort it takes especially if you use a razor, also there’s the risk of cutting yourself and the unsightly razor rash. I am a massive lover of hair removal creams as I find them so quick and easy, although one thing I absolutely hate about them is the smell… You know which one I’m talking about!

Luckily Veet have come to save the day with their new Silk & Fresh Hair Removal Cream*, a collection of beautifully scented creams that come in lovely floral fragrances – Aloe Vera & Vitamin E for sensitive skin and Lotus Milk & Jasmine for normal skin. The first thing I was shocked about when I used this was the smell, it was fresh and clean which was so nice compared to any other hair removal cream and actually past Veet products I have used before, there was a slight underlying tinge of the hair removal scent as I waited for the cream to work but nothing that was eye watering and nothing that lingered after like before.

Something I also noticed with the Silk & Fresh Hair Removal Cream was how creamy it was, it applied really evenly without feeling too thick which I really liked. I kept it on for 10 minutes to do its job and I was left with beautifully smooth legs afterwards, regrowth came back much softer and it actually felt like it was a longer time until I noticed it too.

Next up is the new Professional Warm Wax* which is a hot natural beeswax hair removal kit with no strips required, the best thing about the Professional Warm Wax is that you can pop it in the microwave for a minute to heat it up and the specially designed precision spatula tells you when the wax is the right temperature and ready to use. Now I can’t tell you how much I love this, it goes on easily, dries quickly and actually comes off quite painlessly. I was left feeling soft and hair free for ages afterwards, I’ve actually just bought another one from Superdrug as its on offer at the moment (£9.99 instead of £14.99).

Lastly is a product I haven’t yet tried but I thought I would include it – Veet Natural Inspirations Facial Hair Removal Kit*. The kit is a hair removal cream and finishing cream duo that is said to work on even the shortest and most stubborn hair, leaving your skin feeling touchably smooth and gorgeously soft. It’s suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin, and contains natural grape seed oil to keep the treated area feeling fresh, moisturised and cared for.

Now if you’re in the UK here is your chance to get your hands on some Veet goodies! Just fill out the Rafflecopter form below and good luck!

That first sentence… I always cut myself and yet I insist in using a razor! I used to use the spray veet cream, can’t remember the exact name but I used to love it! That’s always been my favourite. In saying that though, I haven’t tried much else so would love to be able to try something else that’s veet!

I’ve never been a fan of hair removal creams – mainly because of the overpowering fragrance as you mentioned. I think I might have to look at trying this for a change from shaving.
