If you have been reading Charli B for a while now you will know that we recently had been undergoing some works on our flat, this included having all the electrics rewired, new toilet, new bathroom and of course a new kitchen. This has excited me so much as it means we can decorate exactly how we want to without having the fear of these works ruining what we do.
We have already sorted out the bedrooms and how they are going to be decorated, the front room already has its plans, the toilet and bathroom are quite small and we like everything that’s in there so they don’t really need to be touched but my kitchen, my poor little kitchen that has been so unloved for so many years is finally going to get its well deserved little make over.
I want it to have a very minimal feel to it with a very clean look because I hate it when my kitchen looks cluttered as it really puts me off wanting to cook loads of great things. We recently got a new oven and our fridge isn’t too old so I don’t think we need to get new ones of those but I would love a new washing machine, maybe one of the Panasonic washing machines that I have recently seen as they have a great energy rating and a fantastic drum size. I also want to keep to very neutral colours along the lines of white and cream as I find them easier to be able to add to with pops of colour rather than having to change everything else up.
I’m loving the kitchen storage, tea towels and glasses above which are surprisingly all from B and M and under £20 for the lot, with the kettle, toaster, blender, plates and bowls coming from John Lewis and the great utensil clock coming from Red Candy.
I really can’t wait to get stuck in and buy everything we need!
How do you have your kitchen decorated?
