We all know I have an addiction to make up but I also have a love of TV shows, now I mean there is a real love there. I almost revolve my life around when my favourite shows are on and plan certain days around how my show schedules pan out. You see I can’t wait until a dedicated day in the week to watch them all, that and the fact that sometimes when everything is in full swing I have around 20+ shows a week that I watch. I’m going to give you guys a little run down of what I’m currently watching and what I am so excited to be back soon, even if it is their last ever seasons *sobs*.
Ahh, the Gilmore Girls. This has currently been getting me by on Netflix in anticipation for when Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life hits in November. I loved the Gilmore Girls so much and now that I’m older I can really relate to it a whole lot more. If you have never seen Gilmore Girls before it’s about Lorelai and her daughter Rory, who she had when she was 16. Lorelai left a very uptight and fortunate upbringing to go at it on her own because her parents where overbearing. The story picks up with Rory being 16 herself and Lorelai having to rekindle the relationship with her parents due to the fact she needs help. It’s such a wonderful and heartwarming show, it has bought me happiness, laughter and the odd tear.
Quantico has just started its second season and I really hope it sticks around because I am sure this is my favourite show right now! It gets me so excited that I am waiting in desperation for each episode. The show is set over two different times, the then and the now. This is normally something that I really hate but with this it works so well as the stories go hand in hand and what happened then is giving you a reason as for what is going on now, sort of a butterfly effect. It really keeps you on your toes with loads of twists and turns. I shall tell you what the Wiki page for it says as I don’t want to let too much out of the bag on this one as it is too good not to watch for yourself – Quantico explores the lives of young government agents as they go through training to become special agents and beyond. The diverse recruits have been thoroughly vetted and are considered the best and the brightest – but each one possesses secrets, including hidden reasons for enlisting. One recruit ends up being suspected of masterminding the biggest and most deadly attack on U.S. soil since 9/11, and must fight to clear her name.
The Vampire Diaries
In two whole weeks TVD will be back and I am so excited but so sad because it is the last series. Now never have I had a show make me cry as much as TVD has done, I think I am far too emotionally attached to this show to the point I even stuck it out during its god awful season a couple of years ago where it seemed to not know what it was doing and I really felt like giving up. Not only is this show about obviously Vampires and all the goings on of the mystical world of the other side of non-humanity, it’s actually a show about friendship, family, love and true loyalty which really touches me. I will honestly be sad to see it go and I really hope they do justice to it for its last ever season.
Lastly the Teen Wolf gang are back for their last ever season too, which makes me just as sad as TVD ending. I love Teen Wolf for the fact that it is such a great show and there always seems to be something happening. Unlike other shows where a story will drag on and there wont be some action for some time there always seems to be something occurring in Teen Wolf to get to the bigger picture. One thing I am definitely going to be sad about is not getting my weekly Dylan O’Brien fix, but according to his IMDB page he has a couple of projects coming up including the new Maze Runner movie which I shall most definitely be watching.
So there you have an insight into what I’m watching and what I’m looking forward to. At the rate I watch them I’m not sure if my poor TV will be able to keep up with me any longer, I do however have a telly from the Panasonic 4K TV Range on my wishlist. So, if anyone wants to be generous enough to pick one up for me that would be appreciated… Or, Santa, if you are reading I would really like a new TV and a lots of wonderful make up for Christmas. Thank you!.
