When I was little no day at school was complete without a trip to the shop after pick up time. I would always be allowed to grab a drink and a little treat which normally consisted of a Panda Pop, you remember them? They were child sized fizzy pops with flavours like cola and cherry (my favourite!).
Now although these were great for me as a kid times have changed with many of us opting to give our children something a little better. From what I can remember Panda Pops just seemed to fizzle out, I’m not sure when because I obviously grew out of the target audience and didn’t take much notice but I know I no longer noticed them around… Well, Panda drinks are now back but with a great new overhaul!
Panda Drinks have had a bit of a refresh with them no longer hitting the fizzy drink market and instead they have launched with flavoured waters, juice and squash which contain no added sugars, natural flavours and natural colours. I am definitely more comfortable with giving these to Panga than chucking a fizzy drink her way.
We were sent a few of the Panda Drinks to try and I have to say they went down well. Panga absolutely loved the blackcurrant ones while I was a fan of the raspberry and orange and pineapple one. They are surprisingly really refreshing and not overly sweet with the flavour really coming through. Definitely something I would pop in a lunchbox or take with us on days out to quench our thirst.
The Panda Drinks range are available from Tesco’s with the squash being 99p and the smaller flavoured water and juice drinks being £1.99 for a pack of six which is amazing value, they may also be available in your local supermarket but I picked up some more in Tesco after we had received these so I know they definitely stock them there.
Do you remember Panda Pops? What do you think of the new look?
