On Saturday Tapanga and I were lucky enough to head down to the OXO2 by the River Thames to spend the day making pizza, decorating cupcakes and taking part in a food fight all thanks to Persil and their Cook with the Kids Promise.
Panga couldn’t stop going on about going to a food fight since the moment I told her, although I did tell her this is probably the first and the last one she will ever have! She told all her friends which obviously made her the coolest kid in class and she was especially excited as it marked a fun little treat just before her birthday. Once we were there she was even more excited, made a new friend and was interviewed by the guys at Persil for a video that should be live on their website at the beginning of next week… She automatically thinks this is shooting her into super-stardom!
I thought I’d share a few little pictures from the day with you guys
The aim of the day was to get parents and their children to get in the kitchen and make more of a mess thanks to the fact that Persil have a new and improved formula of washing up liquid that which cleans 1400 more dirty plates than before meaning you have the power to clean up after making an almighty mess creating fun recipes with the kids. I know for a fact Panga absolutely loves getting in the kitchen and helping me make things and I think everyone who has children should definitely get involved.
You can sign up for Persil’s Cook with the Kids Promise on the Persil website which will give you a smart little PDF with everything you need to get baking and making a mess with your kids. Also by making the promise you will be in with a chance of winning a kid friendly baking kit in the weekly prize draw, and a kids party worth £500.
Are you going to sign up to Persil’s Cook with the Kids Promise? What would be your favourite food to throw in a food fight?
