It seems like right now the whole world and his wife is getting married, there seems to be some sort of wedding in my Facebook or Twitter timeline at all times and I am even attending a few over the summer… So love is definitely in the air.

The thing that gets me with weddings is that I simply can never find anything to wear so I obviously look online for inspiration like many do, which got me thinking about doing a little wedding outfit post for children, ladies and of course the mother of the bride.

I chose a nice little flowery dress for a girl with plain white sparkly shoes and a bow to go in their hair. I know being a mum myself that my daughter would love something like this and it’s very summer wedding appropriate which is even better.

For me personally I love neutral colours for outfits to wear to weddings especially summer weddings as they keep you cooler when you are outside. I also love that with a neutral outfit you can add some colour with your accessories to change it up so it can be worn again and again if you’re finding yourself in a dilemma over what to wear.

Its so hard when trying to find outfits for Mothers of the Bride because of course it is your little girls big day and you don’t want to take the shine off her but you still want to stand out from the crowd, I thought this blue floral dress would be perfect teamed with the navy shoes and navy/light blue clutch. It’s also perfect for summer weddings as it screams sunny days and also will keep you cool when you are doing the all so important pictures.
