I am an absolute haircare addict. I have shelves filled with the latest in shampoo technology, ones for smoothing, hydrating, volume, thickening and then my go-to curly haired based ones. The list of oils and creams I have to do anything and everything to the mane upon my head is endless. I suppose it comes with the territory and an addictiveness to find the next best thing.
A few months back I was introduced to the Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Range while scouring my local Superdrug, I took an instant interest in them as I absolutely love the Schwarzkopf Bonacure Range that I used for many years when working in the salon.
The range all smells exactly the same which is something I really love about it as it makes the fragrance last in your hair and some other companies ranges smell completely different and I think the build up of smells can just be a bit off putting. The whole Omega Repair consists of a Shampoo, Conditioner, Treatment, and BB Cream. All of which can be found in your local Superdrug, Boots or Supermarket.
I have the Omega Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and BB Cream and I have to say they are a fantastic little combination. The shampoo glides over the hair so effortlessly creating a really nice lather with hardly any product, you can definitely feel the silkiness of the oil that is in the shampoo. The conditioner is lighter than I would have wanted and I really should have picked up the treatment like I normally do when buying haircare but this doesn’t hinder its effectiveness, it gets fully sucked into the hair hydrating it for instant smoothness and softness.
Next is the product I was so interested in the BB cream, its a cream leave in hair treatment with 7 benefits. It claims to intensely repair & rebuild the hair structure, prevent split ends, ease combing, add shine, make the hair bouncier and full of vitality, rebalance hydration levels and give a weightless feel to the hair. Big claims. I feel like this does a lot of what it says on the bottle apart from making my hair bouncier, it just feels the same as it has always been but I do have quite bouncy hair and I’m sure any more bounce would leave me feeling a bit like Gretchen Weiners and her hair full of secrets.
When using them all together they really do give fantastic results of really healthy looking hair, even when you have dyed the life out of it like I have. The scent even lingers in your hair for ages after washing and I really feel like your hair feels fresher for longer with them.
