REN is not exactly a brand I think of when I think about bathing, it’s normally one that I think of when I would like to treat myself to a really nice cleanser but when I was offered to try the Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil I jumped at the chance as it was a product I was really intrigued about.
First off lets start with the packaging, I really like the clean glass bottle with simple label. No faffy looking gimmicks here just a plain old speak for itself label, sometimes I think companies can get it really wrong when they want to entice you with really loud packaging and the product doesn’t live up to anything as pretty as the packaging.
The product itself is obviously an oil that you add to your bath, you don’t need too much just a little splash and that’s enough to give you a nice relaxing gorgeous rose smelling bath. Now this doesn’t smell like your nans pot-pourri that she has laying round the house but instead a really nice relaxing scented one.
Even though it is an oil it doesn’t leave an oily residue on the water or around the bath, just silky water that moisturises your skin and leaves a nice scent. I think the thing I like the most about this is the fact that even though it is am oil it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy like some others I have tried have.
Although it is quite expensive I can see this product lasting a very long while as like I say you don’t need much, if you don’t want to commit to buying the full size you can pick up a whole set of REN’s Moroccan Rose Otto bath products in minis which includes the bath oil for £32 at Selfridges which I think is a great way of trying a few things from the range or would also make a lovely gift.
Have you tried any of the REN bath products?
