The Body Shop Tea Tree Range

September 3, 2016 · 24 Comments

The Body Shop Tea Tree Range Review

The Body Shop have to be one of my favourite shops in the world. I spend so much money in there and I am always housingย a massive bottle of Satsuma Body Wash in the bathroom. Recently I was asked to try out some products from their Tea Tree Range and although I don’t have fully blemish prone skin, I have been getting a bit of congestion recently which I would like to get rid of.

I was sent The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash, 3-in-1 Wash Scrub Mask and Tea Tree Oil. All the products have had a little make over and I have to say I am absolutely loving the new look! It’s sleek, clean and much more modern, definitely something you wouldn’t be ashamed to have on your bathroom side.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Clearing Facial Wash was the first product I used from the range and I have to say it is my favourite. It’s an easy to use wash that doesn’t dry out the skin, it isn’t overly scented but does have that lovely tea tree fragrance. My skin felt instantly clearer from the moment I used it and left it feeling really soft and hydrated.

The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash Scrub Mask was a little bit of a let down for me in the terms of a scrub. I love a really good scrubby, scrub that feels like it is working but with this I felt like the bits that are meant to exfoliate didn’t even touch the skin. I did however like it when I tried it as a wash, although I wouldn’t use it for this purpose as I think the facial wash does a great enough job and you would be wasting your money on this if you bought it solely for this purpose. However, I did adore it as a mask and would definitely repurchase it for that use once my tube has run out. It left my skin feeling less greasy, reduced the appearance of quite a large angry looking blemish that I had almost instantly and left my skin looking really bright and feeling soft.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil – This stuff is famous you know? And apparently a bottle is sold every 8 seconds! Dab a little of this onto a spot and it shall get to work to get rid of it in a number of hours. It actually works and has helped clear up anything that has randomly popped up on my face, it’s a serious little miracle worker.

Over all I love the whole range and used altogether they have definitely improved the health of my skin which is absolutely great.

Have you tried any products from The Body Shop Tea Tree Range? What’s your favourite Body Shop product?

I love Body Shop and like you I’m always getting stuff from them, seems I can’t think of a time before Body Shop – such fantastic products my favourite is the Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub.

I love tea tree products and love the body shop for some of their products, but I usually stay away from anything facial as I had a bad experience years ago with one of their eye gels and it has put me off. Maybe now is the time to retry them again x

This is one I have not tried. I quite often pick up one of the body butters when I’m at the station – they are all good.

Tea Tree always reminds me of the days when you’re a kid and you had to use it to avoid getting nits :’) That said, it’s such a refreshing scent!

I love Body Shop products and that facial wash is one of my favourites too! I haven’t tried the other two but will now due to your recommendation! I don’t like my scrubs to be too scrubby as I have quite sensitive skin so it sounds perfect to me
