How bad do I feel that the day I planned on popping this post up the heavens decided to open up? Well, let’s hope it’s just a little blip in the road and the sunshine shall be pouring back soon enough as I am already way late with this post. I had the pictures on my memory card and I couldn’t find it for the life of me, went to use my suitcase and found it sitting in a pocket… Yay!! Not only did it have these on there but also a host of other blog photos I have needed.
So, let’s get onto the good stuff!.
Eucerin have been around for ages, I’m sure you have heard of them one way or another. They are quite big on skincare, which is what I have always known them for. I didn’t know that they did sun protection until now when I tried out a selection of the range, which included the items below…
Eucerin Kids Sun Spray – Factor 50 (£19.50)* Is a light spray designed especially for kids. The spray helps protect against short term sun burn and is extra water resistant for all those dips in and out of the pool the kids take over summer. The spray is also free from perfumes, colourants and parabens, which means its suitable for even the most sensitive of skins.
Panga has really enjoyed using this as it’s so easy to just spray on, has no sticky residue and doesn’t leave her feeling clammy like other sun creams. She really hates that feeling and sometimes it can be a battle and a half to get her to wear some. I also personally like the fact I know it’s not going to irritate her skin and that its fragrance free because some creams are so potent for kids in a sickly way it really gives you a headache.
Eucerin Extra Light Sun Lotion – Factor 30 (£17.50)* Is an extra light lotion that absorbs quickly and easily into the skin while still providing a high level on sun protection to the skin.
Eucerin Sun Creme-gel with Sun Allergy Protection – Factor 50 (£19.50)* Is a cream/gel hybrid that helps people with allergy prone skin. It has a powerful combination of anti-oxidants to support the skins own protection system against UVA induced free radicals and sun allergies.
I really liked both of these creams for sun protection. I preferred the extra light sun lotion though just for how light, moisturised and easily absorbed it was. The other I felt I had to rub in a little more but other than that there were no other complaints.
Eucerin Sun Anti Age Face – Factor 30 (£20.00) Brings together high UVA/UVB protection, along with Hyaluronic Acid to help retain moisture and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Eucerin Sun CC Cream – Factor 50 (£18.00) Shields skin from the suns harmful rays while providing a fast-absorbing colour pigment that blends into the skin to give a natural matte looking finish. Suitable on its own or as a make up base for greater coverage.
I really liked both of the face creams and thought that they both provided adequate protection for my skin. I did however find the CC cream quite greasy after a while which I didn’t like, however I did find it gave a good enough amount of coverage to feel confident enough walking around without my normal foundation and concealer on.
