I adore a good face mask and I make sure at least once a week I give myself some ‘me time’ where I shall relax with a hair and face mask while reading a magazine. I’ve tried so many different ones over the years but I like ones that give off instant results because I need to see that something works, or at least has something I like about it for me to continue using it.
I have been trying out the Epoch face mask from Nu Skin* for a while now and I thought now was a good enough time to let you all know what I think about it.
The Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask is a revitalising clay mask suitable for all skin types with sea botanicals to draw out dirt and impurities from the skin. My first impressions was that it is the hugest tube of face mask I have ever seen and that it will probably outlive me! My second one was that it sounded very watery inside the tube, so I had visions of opening it and it squirting everywhere. Luckily, a good shake of the bottle before use seems to thicken it up and there were no watery spillages.
You really don’t need a lot of this mask to cover your whole face as it glides on quite easily, covering your face with ease. It dries really well and feels like it is getting to work as you can actually see it drawing out imperfections, something which I absolutely love about this mask because it feels like it’s doing something.
The only downside is that after it’s dry and you try to remove it, it is such a pain to come off and I am there for what feels like ages trying to scrub it off. The results however are really great, my skin looks like it is so fresh, clean and bright. It has a lit from within glow to it and the smoothness that comes with it is absolutely insane. Another thing I love is the fact it’s not drying at all, it feels like its been packed with a moisture punch.
The mask is a bit pricey at £25.99 but when you think of how much product you get and the results I think it is actually quite good value for money. You can order the Epoch Face Mask from Jenny at Beauty by Alyssa.
