I know the summer holidays are just about to start but before you know it they are going to zoom past and we are all going to be making a mad dash for uniforms, trying to grab whatever is left! Trust me I have been there in my local ASDA nearing nine o’clock at night two days before Tapanga is due to go back to school because I have completely forgot to get prepared, this year luckily with the help of George at ASDA and their Back to School range Tapanga is all set to go for the end of the year and the start of the next school year.
When she goes back to school it will sadly be her last year in primary school which makes me a bit sad as my baby is finally growing up, that and the fact that the price of her school uniform is going to probably cost as much as a small house. That’s something I love about the ASDA Back to School range of uniforms, they don’t cost an arm and a leg plus you know you are getting quality as well as quantity.
We were given a budget of £70 to work with and I am so impressed with how much we were able to get – 2 dresses, trousers, a skirt, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 t-shirts, a jumper, 2 cardigans, a pair of shoes, a pair of pumps and even 5 pairs of socks! These were in sizes 11-12 with the shoes being in size 3, if Tapanga was younger she would have been able to get a lot more but because of her age she’s in the higher price bracket in the uniforms but it just goes to show that even if you have a small budget to work with you can still get a wide variety of uniform including a PE kit no matter what your childs age is.
In the above pictures Tapanga is wearing her favourite pieces from the uniform range which she says is all very comfy, she loves that she can run around freely in them and she doesn’t think they feel itchy like some other uniforms she has tried in the past. Her favourite piece out of everything is the Bow Detail Skater Skirt which was £7 as it makes her feel like she can inject a bit of her own style into her uniform while still keeping to her schools uniform policy and colours. Here she is giving it a twirl on Instagram!
All the pieces fit her really well and give her enough room to grow some more, I know from past experience that ASDA School Uniforms wear really well and also wash really well with these being no exception as she has been wearing different variations of her uniforms all week.
I have to say I am so impressed with everything and am definitely going to be popping into ASDA to grab a couple more things before the mad uniform rush begins, just make sure you don’t get caught out like I have before and get your uniform shop in early.
